Iris Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 July 2026
The agreement
These terms govern access to and use of Iris (iris.nomad.sc), the business workspace platform operated by Nomad AI Ltd, a private limited company registered in Ireland ("we", "us"). Iris is a business service: the agreement is between us and the organisation that subscribes to a workspace (the "Customer"). If you use Iris as a member of a Customer's workspace, you do so under the Customer's agreement with us, and these terms apply to your use. Where a Customer has a separately signed agreement or order form with us, that document prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
The service
Iris provides workspace modules — including knowledge base and document search, CRM, projects, SOPs, contracts, and finance tools — on a subscription basis. The modules available to a workspace depend on the Customer's plan and configuration. We may improve or modify features over time; we will not materially degrade the core service during a paid term.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Workspace administrators control membership, roles, and permissions within their workspace, and can remove members at any time.
- Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
Customer content
The Customer owns its content. Everything created in or synced into a workspace — pages, documents, records, indexed text from connected sources — remains the Customer's (or its licensors'). We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy, and claim no ownership of it. The Customer grants us the limited licence needed to host, process, index, and display the content to authorised workspace members.
Connected sources and integrations
Workspace admins may connect third-party sources and integrations (for example Google Drive, Microsoft 365, email, or calendar). By connecting one, the Customer confirms it is authorised to grant Iris the access shown on that provider's consent screen. Document sources are read-only and scoped to what the admin selects; other integrations operate only with the permissions granted at connection and can be disconnected at any time — see the privacy policy for details. Use of a connected provider remains subject to that provider's own terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Iris to store or distribute unlawful content, or content that infringes others' rights;
- attempt to access another customer's workspace or data, probe or circumvent security controls, or disrupt the service;
- resell or provide the service to third parties outside your workspace without our written agreement;
- use the service to develop a competing product by systematic extraction of its software or design.
Fees
Paid plans are billed per the Customer's subscription (via our payment provider or an agreed order form). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed. We may suspend a workspace for non-payment after reasonable notice.
Availability and support
We operate Iris with commercially reasonable skill and care and aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" unless a separate agreement says otherwise. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice where practical. Support is available at team@nomad.sc.
Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own the Iris software, design, and branding. These terms grant no rights in them beyond the right to use the service. Feedback you choose to give us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or data, except where caused by a party's breach of its security or confidentiality obligations); and our total aggregate liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees the Customer paid for the service in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
Suspension and termination
The Customer may cancel its subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms that remains uncured after notice, or where required to protect the service or comply with law. On termination, the Customer may request an export of its content; workspace content is then deleted as described in the privacy policy.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; material changes are communicated to workspace administrators, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: team@nomad.sc.
